How they met
MaKenna: Ben and I met in sixth grade and have been friends for a long time. We both dated other people and finally started dating our Junior year of High School. We have been together ever since and have had many fun adventures together!
How did Ben Propose?
Makenna: Ben proposed to me on our favorite hike, it was very intimate and special. I’m glad it was only the two of us, there was a lot of crying involved on my part!
Has Covid affected the planning of your wedding?
Makenna: From there we chose to have our wedding in Summer of 2021 for planning purposes and our future careers. Therefore, we have decided to not postpone our wedding due to Covid-19 because the venue we chose is completely outdoors. With this is mind, Covid-19 has influenced a lot of our decisions. From who we would like to invite, to how many makeup artists we are allowed to have, Covid-19 is always in the back our minds when planning.
At the end of the day, even though there is a pandemic, if the right precautions are taken and all necessary rules are followed we are confident our wedding day will be just as beautiful, memorable and special, pandemic or not. We are very excited to share this special day with our friends and families. For those that cannot come in person, we have a videographer coming to document this special event.
