Story of the Couple’s Meeting
Ellie: It’s a small world! Aidan and I went to the same tiny college and never met. We have lived three hours apart since 2006 and on multiple occasions we have been across town from each other and never known it. Aidan’s best friend from high school just happened to be one of my best friends from college. He introduced Aidan and me two weeks after college graduation. We have been inseparable since then.
Proposal
Ellie: Aidan took me to his hometown in Kentucky and proposed on his family farm. He selected a special location: The creek where his grandfather had baptized him.
Selecting a Venue
Ellie: The ceremony venue is incredibly important to me. It is the garden where my mother has a bench donated in her name.
Advice from the Bride
Ellie: Don’t be afraid to delegate. Have fun (Do not stress) with DIY projects. I’m making my own wedding cake! Invite those who make you smile; and don’t worry about the small things. People are coming to see you!
