Crooked Willow Farms
I am so excited to share some “Sneak Peeks” of this absolutely gorgeous wedding at Crooked Willow Farms. It was such an honor to be a part of Kristina and Clay’s big day. Kristina chose Crooked Willow Farms for her May wedding and is was a wonderful choice. She needed a venue where she could go either inside or outside for the ceremony depending on the weather. I am so glad that she was thinking about this.
The weather on May 16th was definitely questionable and Heidi Luse with As You Wish Planning made the right decision to have the ceremony inside when the skies began turning blue. The weather quickly changed right before the start of the ceremony and it became very cold and rainy. While an outdoor wedding at Crooked Willow Farms would have been beautiful, I am so glad that Kristina had a back up plan.
After the ceremony we were able to do family portraits and bridal party in the loft area and we decided to hold off on bridal portraits until the rain stopped. After dinner and dancing we swept the bride and groom away for a few formal portraits and while it was chilly Kristina and Clay were such troopers and we got some amazing photos.
