How they met
Darla: Nate and I met at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. We had mutual friends that set us up, and once we started talking we had an immediate connection! We dated for a little over a year when Nate moved back to Colorado, and then we did long distance for 2 years which was really hard but so worth it!! After graduating I moved to Colorado and we lived together for a year before he proposed! Throughout each phase of our relationship we have learned so much about each other and how to support one another and we are so grateful to be where we are today!
How did he propose?
Darla: Nate proposed when we went to Minnesota to visit my family. We were at my parents house and he took me away from everyone and down by the horses as the sun was setting and proposed! We then got to celebrate with everyone after!
Tell us about your Engagement Session?
Darla: We had such a great time working with Tina and Kate for our engagement session!! They stuck with us during the fires to find the perfect place for our session when our original plan didn’t pan out. And they turned out better than we could have ever hoped!!
