Wedding Planning During Covid

Everyone can agree that having a wedding in 2020 was a challenge for every couple and every venue. Choosing a venue that will carefully follow CDC guidelines is a great place to start. Flying Horse Club rose to the challenge and helped Alex and Paige have the wedding they had always dreamed of despite Covid-19. From the individually packaged cookies to the elegant outdoor ceremony, this was a day to remember.

Paige serves in the Air Force as a helicopter pilot. During the planning of her wedding, she was stationed in Honduras. She relied heavily on her family and on the venue for planning. As a military bride, she only had one month to come home, finalize details, and get married.

Paige took great care selecting details that reflected her love of elegance in autumn. Her jewelry for her big day was in settings of rose gold. The florals boast of bold colors of deep red, fall foliage, and coral colored roses. A touch of Colorado was represented with subtle mountains and small amounts of evergreen and pinecones in each table centerpiece. In contrast to the warm and cozy reception space, her ceremony location was open and bright on the outdoor patio. Hanging lanterns lined the center aisle and the natural landscape elevated the feel with tall slender trees stretching like columns separating the patio from the golf coarse.

Having a wedding in 2020 or 2021, despite Covid, can be magical. Take a deep breath, and tackle one detail at a time!
