How they met

Breanda: Funny story, we technically met through Facebook! Derek saw that we had mutual friends (my cousin) and messaged me saying he loved my smile. The rest was history!

How did Derek propose?

Breanda: Derek proposed on the same spot he first said “I love you”! It was at the top of a mountain on his sisters property; where we would end up getting married! 💛

Wedding Planning during Covid

Breanda: The best advice I have for couples who are unsure about their wedding due to covid is this: do it & keep it small! You always hear how “fast” wedding days go. How the bride and groom never see each other… so here’s the secret- keep it to wedding party and immediate family only. As a result, the day will go by slow & be so intimate. You’re guaranteed special time with your new husband/wife that you wouldn’t have otherwise. Covid is the excuse you never knew you needed! (P.s. all your family will understand & most will still send cards!)

Breanda: Keep your wedding photographer and videographer your top priority. You can always have a “playback” celebration when Covid is over!
